I bought this camera due to the unique styling as if it is OEM equipment

I bought this camera due to the unique styling as if it is OEM equipment. Installing it was fairly easy. I used the fuse tap kit since I didn't want to use the port plug. I am technologically challenged so pairing the phone was a challenge. Then come to find out I had a camera that was outdated or that I was unable to update with the firmware they sent. So the terrific customer service that was with me every step of the way got me through it and sent me a new camera then everything worked great. I can't speak highly enough of the customer service. Then returned every email which became daily for me. They even followed up to see how installation was going. I haven't used the app since installing but everything seems to be working great.

Excellent Recorded Video!

The video is a very high quality and it is easy to transfer from the device to my phone. Both the daytime and night video quality is exceptional. The installation took me about 30 minutes and that included hiding the GPS cable. I will admit, it is a tight fit with the additional connector and wires but with patience, it fits perfectly.

Great Dash Cam!

I have a 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4. In researching available dash cams, I found only 2 brands that offered OEM style cameras. This was much more desirable for my use because I didn’t want things cluttering up and blocking my windshield. Mangoal was the only brand, at this time, that also offered the new Sony Starvis 2 sensor, which is reported to be the latest technology for dash cams. I chose only the front cam model. This model also comes with an included GPS sensor. I chose not to install the GPS at this time because I don’t need the speed data and having that can actually work against you in the event you had an accident and you were speeding! I did send Mangoal a suggestion that the App could give you the option to turn the GPS data off and on from the App itself,. Anyway the installation was a bit tricky. Removing the cowling and connecting the wiring was simple. You do have to use the zip ties to make sure you keep the wiring from interferring with the cowl replacement. Getting the replacement cowling reinstalled took time. After getting all the wiring tie wrapped up and out of the way, just getting the clips to line up, and wanting to be careful to break any, it was a bit time consuming, but all finally clicked into place and mounted securely, with a completely OEM look and no indication that there was a dash cam, unless you happened to look straight into the windshield and see the camera lense. Setting up the camera with the Skycam app was a bit of a problem because you do have to make sure you turn off your function that constantly searched for wifi connections. Once past that, set up was easy, and formatting the SD card was a breeze. I am very pleased with the quality of the video! I have attached a snapshot of a daytime video to show the quality. I have not had the opportunity for a night recording. The quality is excellent, and checking the recorded vido properties it is, indeed, 4K quality, showing a bitrate of 32,000+ Mbps (Mega bits per second). Most sources say that anything above 20K to 25K Mega bits per second will provide good quality 4K video. Color is excellent and video is very stable. The camera cowling does not rattle at all, and rides as secure the the original OEM cowling. I plan on installing this on my 2021 Yukon. It is one of the more expensive cameras available, although with the Black Friday 20% off deal it was quite doable. The material quality appears to be quite good and it is so discreet--no wires, nothing hanging off your mirror, no suction mounts, and no visible camera.
