The footage looks nice, though connecting to the WiFi can be a chore at times. With my setup I have to turn off CarPlay WiFi as they’re constantly battling for signal supremacy. Biggest wishlist item would be the ability to bookmark an incident on the fly and not waiting to connect with my phone later. Let me push a button or give verbal command to save footage. Footage captured does look real nice.
If you like a dashcam that just sits "quietly" behind your rearview mirror as if it's not even there, this one is for you. Been using it for about a year and I almost always forget it's there until I need to pull a footage from it.
Talking about the footage, that's another reason to grab this cam: crisp, clean, reads license plate like magic.

Installed the 4K front/2K rear Starvis 2 system in my 2022 Toyota 4Runner. Very simple install. Looks 100% factory. Video quality is amazing. Highly recommend this Mangoal dash cam.
What a great product! I have the front and rear Dashcam for my Bronco and it’s saved me two times after minor fender benders. The picture is crisp and the app allows me to directly save videos on my phone. I highly recommend this Dashcam for anybody looking for a cost effective solution to avoid being blamed for accidents that aren’t your fault!

The cameras arrived packaged very well. It was a relatively easy install. The installation videos were a great help. The recorded video details are amazing when viewed on a laptop or desktop screen. I use wireless Apple CarPlay for GPS and I wish it was easier to go from that to being able to view the videos on my phone but I’m still learning so I may figure that out in the future. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase. The front camera looks factory installed and the rear is a small footprint so not too intrusive in the rear view mirror. The videos are amazing.
I’m very impressed with this dash cam. The 4K video quality is clear and sharp, and the wide-angle view gives great coverage while driving. I also really like the built-in Wi-Fi and GPS features, and the included 64GB card was a nice bonus. Setup was straightforward, and the camera feels well made. Great dash cam for added security and peace of mind on the road. I would definitely recommend it!!
Installation was easy for the cameras but a little harder for the GPS receiver. Too bad the GPS is not integrated with the camera. However final installed unit looks great and you would think it came with the truck. WiFi worked fine with iPhone but had to temporarily disconnect CarPlay to make it work. Too bad it doesn’t use Bluetooth to connect instead. Most other dash-cams use WiFi, so there must be a reason for this. Overall quite happy with unit. I inserted a little foil piece to protect it from the sun as I live in the hot desert.

I am using the Mangoal Front 4K HDR Dash Cam STARVIS 2 (designed for the Ford Escape) in a Kuga PHEV MK3.5, which is the European version of the Escape.
I received the dash cam in the Netherlands from China within a week.
It was well-packaged; the camera feels sturdy and looks good.
Installation was easy, thanks to the included flat yellow pry tool for removing the overhead console trim and Mangoal's comprehensive installation videos and the detailed operating instructions.
Initially, I attached the mounting clip to the windshield, but I thought it looked unsightly due to the visible white adhesive strip.
After emailing Mangoal's excellent customer service, I received a mounting clip that could be screwed onto the rearview mirror arm.
Unfortunately, the original mirror **** no longer fit (it was too short), and the included **** was too long.If the **** isn't exactly the right length, the mirror becomes loose and vibrates while driving; after some careful measuring and adjusting, I got the **** to the right length, and it fits perfectly now.
The image quality is excellent, and I am very satisfied with it.
I did swap in a faster 128GB microSD card to allow for longer recording times.
I wasn't very impressed with the Skycamm recommended app, so I use the Viidure app instead, which I personally prefer.
It takes some getting used to that you can only connect to the dash cam while inside the car, though you can also simply remove the microSD card and view the footage on a laptop.
You also have to disable Android Auto to connect to the dash cam's Wi-Fi signal; otherwise, it simply won't work.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the Mangoal Front 4K HDR Dash Cam STARVIS 2, particularly its image quality and value for money.

I like the camera and it works very well. This was installed and paid to a professional installer who said the instructions were complicated! I had to help him! He didn't use the correct stickers and the rear camera popped off but I was able to reapply it. I like the tilt rear camera too. I like that the front camera blends right in with the car. And the SD card shows clear images. I recommend this brand!
Let me start by saying that I love the way this camera integrates seamlessly for a clean, factory appearance. The setup was a breeze with the provided instructions. The clarity is what you should expect at 4K (front) and 2K (rear). I'm loving it so far!
So far so good, the fit & finish was pretty spot on. It took a little bit getting use to navigating the app in order to look at previous videos captured & saving it to my phone. Other then that its a good product for the price

Really impressed with this dash cam. The installation was straightforward and I especially like how clean and factory-looking it is once installed. It blends in perfectly with the Equinox instead of having a bulky camera hanging from the windshield with wires everywhere.
The 4K video quality is sharp and clear, and the Wi-Fi connection makes it easy to view and download recordings directly to my phone. GPS is also a nice added feature. Everything feels well designed specifically for the Equinox rather than like a universal dash cam.
If you want a dash cam that looks OEM, has great picture quality, and keeps the installation clean, this is a great choice. Very happy with it and would definitely recommend it.

The product itself is outstanding. The OEM design of the front dashcam is a perfect fit and once installed, you easily forget it's there! The recorded picture quality both day & night is absolutely clear and detailed. The rear camera is equally a compact design, of a lesser image quality, but at 1080p, does the job it's designed to do.
Overall, I would recommend this product without hesitation.

Have been using it since since 2025. Great OEM fit and super easy to install. Great customer support. Getting another one for my other vehicle at home.
I previously had the FITCAMX and for whatever reason the front camera quit working after 1 year; just past its 1 year warranty period. The Mangoal design is very similar in fit, form and function to the FITCAMX. It is flush mounted and replaces the OE rearview mirror housing. It installs very easily via the fuse box if you have the proper tools and can spare the extra time and effort. The quality of the front and rear cameras are not great for recording or viewing text unless it’s a large highway sign but most objects are sharp and clear during the day. At night, the camera needs some external or ambient lighting to make out any objects, and you can forget about the reading any text it’s nearly impossible you’ll spend more time straining your vision. Honestly, I would have given the review 4.5 stars because the factory arrow indicating up on the rear camera was position upside down so I ended up accidentally mounting the camera in the wrong orientation because I trusted the label on the rear camera. Luckily the package includes to double sided 3M tape so it was an easy correction. I also used a slim carbon fiber money/credit card clip to mount the rear camera to to save time and orient the camera towards the rear while maximizing its viewing angle.
Installation was pretty straight forward, I managed to hide all of the wires and make it look professional. The fact that it's hidden inside of the rear view mirror housing makes it so that no one realizes it's there which is great for me. The quality is unmatched, I've already helped out my local police with at least 2 different front and rear videos of crashes and offenders. I feel very safe knowing that this is running every time I start my vehicle. Already looking at purchasing another for my wife's vehicle and will probably pick up one for both of my children as presents.
