If you have forgotten the device’s connection password, please follow the steps below to reset it:

1.Restore Factory Settings:
Press and hold the “PHOTO” button for 15 seconds. The device will reset to factory settings and restart.
2.Clear Old Wi-Fi Connection:
Make sure the Wi-Fi is on (blue light blinking once per second). On your phone, go to Wi-Fi settings, find the dashcam’s network, and select “Forget this Network” (or “Remove Network”/“Disconnect”).
3.Force Restart the Device:
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to turn off the device, then press it again to turn it back on.
4.Reconnect to Wi-Fi:
On your phone, search for the dashcam’s Wi-Fi network again and enter the default password: 12345678.

When there is an APP connection problem, please refer to the following instructions to solve it
1. Check WiFi Status and Restore Factory Settings
First, please check the indicator lights of the dash cam and ensure that the blue indicator light flashes once per second, which indicates that the WiFi function is working normally.
Please ensure the following conditions are met:
* You are inside the vehicle, or within 10 meters of the vehicle.
* The vehicle engine must be in the started state (turning on ACC power only is not sufficient).
If the red indicator light flashes abnormally, please press and hold the “Photo” button for 15 seconds to restore the dash cam to factory settings.
2. To avoid interference from other WiFi networks, CarPlay/Android Auto, or phone permissions, which may cause connection failure or frequent disconnection after connection (smartphones can only maintain one WiFi connection channel at a time), please configure your phone as follows before connecting:
Turn ON [Airplane Mode] → Turn OFF [Bluetooth] → Ignore or delete the [CarPlay / Android Auto] WiFi → Turn OFF [VPN] and [Mobile Data] → Finally, turn ON only [WiFi] to connect to the dash cam.
Warm Reminder: During daily driving, your phone does not need to remain connected to the dash cam WiFi at all times. This will not affect your normal use of CarPlay, Android Auto, phone Bluetooth, internet access, or other functions. The dash cam starts recording automatically when the vehicle starts and automatically saves videos to the memory card. You only need to connect to the dash cam WiFi network when you want to view or download recorded videos/photos.
After viewing, it is recommended that you delete or select “Forget” for the dash cam WiFi network in your phone settings. This helps prevent your phone from automatically reconnecting to the dash cam WiFi the next time the vehicle starts, thereby avoiding interference with CarPlay or Android Auto.
3. For iPhone users (iOS 18 or above): During the download and installation of the APP, please make sure to tap “Allow” on all permission pop-up windows to prevent the phone system from blocking the dash cam WiFi connection. Enable “Local Network” access permission:
Settings → Tap “Apps” at the bottom → Enable “Local Network”
Enable location permission:
Go to “Settings” on your phone → Scroll down and find “SkyCamm” → Tap “Location” → Select “While Using the App” or “Always”.
4. Connect to the correct WiFi: such as WiFi_E970XXXX / WiFi_USB529Pro_xxxx (Password: 12345678).
Scan the QR code to view the app connection video.
5. If it still cannot connect, please remove the memory card and restart the dash cam, then try changing the APP and use the “Viidure” APP to connect

The Mangaol dash cam automatically starts recording once the vehicle engine turns on and doesn’t require constant phone connection. You are free to use CarPlay, Android Auto or vehicle Bluetooth during driving while the cam keeps recording normally.If you need to view recorded footage on the APP: turn off your phone Bluetooth first, then connect to the dash cam’s Wi‑Fi.

How to resolve conflicts between dashcam Wi-Fi and CarPlay or Android Auto?
Since the phone can only use one Wi-Fi channel at a time, when the phone is connected to the dashcam's Wi-Fi, CarPlay or Android Auto will be interrupted. This is a normal phenomenon, and it will not affect your daily use of CarPlay or Android Auto.
1.The dashcam will start recording automatically when the car is on, without needing to connect to your phone's Wi-Fi, and the videos will be saved to the memory card.
2.While driving, your phone can stay connected to CarPlay or Android Auto without needing to connect to the dashcam's Wi-Fi. Only when downloading or viewing recordings/photos should you temporarily switch to the dashcam's Wi-Fi.
To avoid interference, we recommend the following steps:
1.When viewing recordings, tap "Forget or Disconnect CarPlay or Android Auto" in your phone's Wi-Fi settings, so it won't affect the connection to the dashcam's Wi-Fi.
2.After finishing viewing the video, please also tap "Forget" or delete the dashcam Wi-Fi from the phone's Wi-Fi list, so that next time you get in the car, the phone will prioritize connecting to CarPlay or Android Auto.
3.If you need both Wi-Fi connections simultaneously, we recommend connecting CarPlay or Android Auto via a USB data cable, which will completely avoid Wi-Fi conflicts.

A smartphone can only maintain one active Wi-Fi connection at a time. Interference from surrounding Wi-Fi, CarPlay/Android Auto, Bluetooth, VPN or cellular data often causes unstable or dropped connections.
Follow these steps before pairing with the dash cam:
1. Turn on Airplane Mode
2. Disable Bluetooth
3. Forget saved Wi-Fi networks for CarPlay & Android Auto
4. Switch off VPN and mobile data
5. Enable Wi-Fi only and connect to the dash cam Wifi

You can format the memory card using either method:
Method 1: Via Mobile App
1.Connect your phone to the dash cam’s Wi-Fi

3.Go to Camera Settings > Format > Confirm

Remove the memory card and insert it into a card reader connected to your computer
Format the card (recommended format: FAT32 or exFAT)

1️⃣ Check the GPS interface in the app
When GPS is successful, signal bars appear on the main page. If none, please check that the GPS cable pins are fully inserted and properly connected.
2️⃣ Check GPS installation position
Make sure the GPS module is connected correctly with the “GPS” label facing up. Place it in an open area of the vehicle (e.g., dashboard) and avoid enclosed compartments.
3️⃣ Wait for signal lock
Park the vehicle in an open area for at least 2 minutes. You can place the GPS module outside the window briefly to speed up locking, then put it back inside.
4️⃣ Reset the dash cam if needed
If GPS still doesn’t work, press and hold the PHOTO button for 15 seconds to restart the device. The red light will flash, then turn blue indicating a successful reset. It’s recommended to restart your phone before reconnecting.

If the dash cam keeps restarting, please follow these steps:
1️⃣ Format the memory card
Format the memory card via the app. If the app cannot connect, remove the card and format it on a computer using a card reader.
Locked videos and photos are not overwritten during loop recording, causing the card to fill up over time. We recommend formatting every 2-3 months.
2️⃣ Check for memory card issues
If the problem persists after formatting, power off by holding the power button, remove the memory card, then power on again.
If the device works normally without the card but restarts repeatedly with the card inserted, the card may be faulty. Please contact Mangoal technical support for a replacement.
Excellent upgrade good video resolution and simple installation no need to be an expert to install
First, I bought this to replace a very popular Viofo setup I purchased here on Amazon a couple years ago. I had I professionally installed ($250 install fee) and it was wired from the fuse box. Power cut in and out because of the adapter the shop used didn’t seat well in the fuse box.(I know I should have went back and had them fix it) Windshield cracked from a rock and was replaced. Camera was disconnected and never reinstalled. (I also know I should have said something about this as well)
Fast forward to now. I bought this because I installed a similar front/rear dashcam setup on my RAV4 and it was easy and works well. The install wasn’t as easy as my RAV4 because the housing for the camera didn‘t click in willingly. Took me about 30 minutes and in the end whack of frustration popped it into place. Removing the OEM housing was super easy. Running the wires on a Cadillac is no easy task. The panels and seals are surprisingly strong and hold their ground very well. After working the wire to the rear camera. All the rest was fairly straightforward enough.
The software will take a little patience and perseverance. Just follow the instructions and keep trying. You‘ll get it online. Same goes for connecting when you wanna pull video or pictures. This setup comes with a SD memory card which is awesome. There is no need to buy any wire harnesses or adapters. Everything needed is included.
There are manual buttons on the front camera housing to turn off power, reset, or take a snapshot. Pretty awesome. Quality of the video is good enough to provide evidence of an accident or whatever you need. These days people will lie to blame others, cheat you. Insurance companies will tell you they’re going with the other driver‘s story to get out of paying you. This will protect you from that. Rear camera looks very good as well. This is in my wife’s SUV so I will update if anything goes wrong or right. The look is a lot better than other cameras that stick to your windshield or hang from somewhere. I like how low profile this is. No worries of thieves breaking into your car to steal the camera. You can see it if you‘re looking but it blends well with the radar/rain sensors on the top middle of your windshield.
I recommend these types of dash cams to anybody I talk to regarding dashcams. Great DIY project. This took me about 2 hours start to finish

This dash cam is custom fit for Cadillac Gen 5 Escalade/Escalade Model A only, as there are other models. Have to check against the pictures carefully to see which model and years fits.
Once it's correct, fairly easy to install and works well at 4K front and HD rear. As easy as dash cam's are concerned of course. They work like other dash cam's but is custom fit so looks like from the OEM. Much cleaner than stand-alone ones hanging from dash with a cord.
Price is a little high, but this is 4K with app so have to pay up.
So far it's a great edition to my car.

I have a 2018 Escalade premium short version. The install video shows a bigger opening in the headliner than is actually there. My headliner only has a slot large enough for the wires that run to the mirror etc. I removed the overhead console with 2 screws and 2 clips which allowed the headliner a little flex to let the new pigtail harness connector to tuck up in the headliner. It's the only way to hide the connector and I checked with the manufacturer of the dashcam as well. Have not had a change to try all the functionality but wanted to share my install experience in case it helps others who struggled a bit like I did.

It seems clear enough. The only problem with the installation was the orientation of the rear camera. I couldn't clearly understand the arrow they installed and so I had to re-install it opposite from what I believed the video shows.
The front camera did work by itself before installing the rear camera. This is what the factory said when I purchased it.
This was a perfect fit for my 2016 Cadillac Escalade. The camera looks like it was installed by the factory. The front camera was easy to install, and including running the cable to the back for the rear camera, it took a little over an hour. The directions are vague at times but it‘s not rocket science. The app works well and the image quality is great. You connect to the camera via wifi. With so many wifi devices in-range, I wish you could customize the camera’s broadcasting SSID to make it easily identifiable.
Purchased for my 2018 Escalade. It was very easy to install (I chose the OBD method). The app is ready to install and operate. I do wish video could be pulled without having to sign into the camera wifi, but you can't have it all I guess. Overall, I am pleased and would recommend.

It works great. It looks great, as if it was factory installed. The rear camera doesn't look that great as it sticks.to the window and the wire is visable, but it works. The software is good and easy to use. Install was very quick and easy. I used the OBDII method because I wanted the Parking/Tilt recording to work.
I wish it would let you view/download the files without being inside of the car.

I have had this installed for several months now, it works fantastic! Anyone who owns a 2015 through 2020 Cadillac escalade, I strongly encourage to get this device. Took me about an hour and a half to install in my esv.
I recently installed this in a 2018 Cadillac Escalade and I'm pretty impressed with how it's performed so far. The 4K resolution captures every detail and provides clear footage day or night. The installation is straightforward and came with detailed instructions making it easy. Since this camera has such a sleek design it's never in my way either.
The only reason is not getting a 5 star is that the wifi distance could be better, otherwise it was an easy install
Just installed this in my 24' Escalade. Took me about 10-15 mins. Was very easy and it fit perfectly. Connected to the app was also pretty quick and painless. I would say the video looks more like a good 1080P or 2K to me, maybe not 4K as claimed, but it is way better than other dashcams I have had. Cable management was awesome and this looks like a factory install.
It was incredibly easy to install the front facing camera in my Platinum edition Escalade, but I did not install the rear facing one yet as the suede headliner fits so tightly there isn't enough room to get the wire tucked in without spending hours of time I wasn't prepared to dedicate to yet. But it works fine with just the front camera, which is what I was most concerned about anyway. The video quality is better than those cheap suction cup types, and with no visible wires it makes for a clean appearance. My only complaint is with the video transfer process, the built in wifi is kinda slow so I recommend pulling the SD card and transferring the videos that way instead.
The deal with Mangoal cameras is that they really do look like they were installed at the factory. Unless you knew better, you'd think that my Escalade rolled off the assembly line with the camera. In terms of aesthetics it can't be beat.
The dash cam functionality is solid though not spectacular. You're not getting state of the art performance though you will get servicable performance. It has all of the features you'd expect in a decent dash cam. It has built in wi-fi, a easy to use app, loop recording, G-sensor, etc. It comes with a 128G MicroSD card and all of the tools you need to install it. I had no problem putting it in myself but if you're not as confident in your installation abilities it never hurts to get it done professionally. Recommended!
Easy to install and set up. Good and clear picture quality. Only issue is if you have carplay in your car you cannot connect to the camera and the carplay on your phone at the same time. If you like to watch your recordings or anything in your car you can not listen to your music or use your GPS etc. and vis-versa.
